October Roster

Ive just got back from probably the best trip ever…. Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires! Obviously a post (or two) will be coming with lots of pictures, but first I thought I’d put up my October roster!

Exciting times as I’m now officially a “Grade 1”, working in the business class cabin. So here goes:

  • Manchester
  • 1 week leave (over my birthday, still trying to decide what to do/where to go!)
  • Shanghai
  • London Gatwick
  • Seoul
  • London Heathrow

As you can see I’ve got quite a few UK flights in there! Hopefully I’ll be able to get on to the swap system and have a play around and swap some flights. These are all on the A380! And for the first time in months….no turnarounds! 😀

Very happy to be going to Manchester (although slightly terrified about it being my first ever flight in business!) as my best friend Lucy moved there recently so we’ll be able to catch up! 🙂

Also looking forward to going to Seoul and Shanghai as it’s been a while since I’ve been to either and there’s lots more I’d like to see!

P.s. For more regular updates please follow me on Instagram and Twitter @rachelwwilson! 🙂

YOU’RE GOING TO SEOUL!!! TAKE ME WITH YOU!
Rachel Wilson, i’ve been reading your blog since july and I’m basically vicariously living through you, all your experiences sound amazing and i really can’t wait to start travelling to some of these places myself.
my dad works for Qatar Airways (Ground staff) so we get to travel quite a bit, this Christmas we’re going to Singapore and dubai, what places would you recommend in the two countries?
secondly, what do you do in order maintain your immune system, with all the travelling and being on planes for a long period time , how do you keep your health incheck??
    Thank you

    ~ Rizz

P.S. I have found my new favourite blog!

I loved Seoul!! It’s one of my favourite Asian cities (not to mention the shopping is awesome!) Ah wow you’ll love them both! I’ve just posted about Singapore so have a look at that one, and as for Dubai, I’ll try and do a post about all the things there are to do here!
To be honest I don’t do a whole lot, I seem to be pretty lucky in that I don’t really ever get sick! Thanks for reading 🙂

Awesome roster! Is it a case that business class crew has more layovers, or is it luck? 🙂

I think it’s all very random, although now I’m in business I think I’ll be flying on the A380 more as that’s where they need more crew, and as there are only 3 turnarounds on the A380 hopefully I’ll be getting more layovers 🙂

Sooo fun to read all your journeys! Youre such an inspiration <3
I have applied online on emirates for their assessment day invitation only, do you know by any chance how long it takes for them to let you know you're invited before the closing date? I hope you could let me know. Thanks and congrats!

Glad you like my blog 🙂 Good luck for the assessment day! I have no idea how long it usually takes them to get back to you, as I went to an open day! Sorry!
