I’m back with the final few pictures from my mini getaway to Tbilisi!
After our day out in the mountains, we got dropped back off at our hotel, and having already eaten plenty of dumplings, decided to have a stroll around the city and just find somewhere for a drink.
Everywhere you go these Georgian snickers are on display! They make for such colourful displays.
View PostAfter our first day exploring Tbilisi, Emma and I were ready to see a bit more of Georgia! We booked onto a tour which would take us to see the Kazbegi mountains, the Ananuri Fortress, Zhinvali Dam and Reservoir, and Gudauri to see the Russia-Georgia friendship monument high up in the mountains.
After fuelling up with an incredible breakfast at our hotel, we walked into the old town to our meeting point.
Although we booked onto a group tour, it was only the two of us and a Ukrainian couple, along with our guide Misha.
View PostLast month I decided to do something a bit spontaneous – after realising my friend Emma and I had 3 days off at the same time, we booked a trip to Tbilisi, Georgia!
I landed from a flight in the evening and Emma came over so we could plan the trip somewhat – we booked standby flights with FlyDubai for the next morning, a hotel in Tiblisi, and left the rest to be decided when we got there!
