July Roster

It feels like I’ve only just posted my June roster, so my apologies for slacking this month!

I’ve been so busy with leave, flying, lots of turnarounds and just life in general! I’ll try my hardest to blog a bit more this month, although I’m not making any promises ๐Ÿ˜‰ I’ve also got a blog post about my trip to the beautiful city of Venice lined up, so stay tuned!

Next month (providing I don’t swap any flights, as always) I’ll be heading to:

  • CAN (Guangzhou, China)
  • MUC
  • HAM (trying to swap this one for a Rome to fly with a friend though!)
  • KHI (Karachi turnaround)
  • ZRH
  • KHI (Karachi turnaround)
  • VIE (finally, a Vienna flight! My second ever in over 2,5 years, and I didn’t even bid for it!)
  • MUC
  • AMM (Amman turnaround)

As you can see, it’s going to be a busy month! Fingers crossed I manage to swap a few flights, although we only have 3 swaps per month. I wonder how many months in a row now I’ve been given Munich?! I really shouldn’t complain, but it would be nice to get some new destinations in there!

You’re welcome! Well we have an online system where you can send and receive swaps for flights, you have 3 swaps per month. You can also advertise for flights you want to get rid of and flights you want. I’m not sure what kind of tests you mean? There was an English test during the open day and then after once I joined there were lots of tests during the training. You have international flights all the time ๐Ÿ™‚

Hi there! Thanks for reading ๐Ÿ™‚ You can bid each month but there is an order of seniority, so it’s not at all guaranteed that you’ll get your requests!

    Hey Rachel,

I love reading your blog and it makes me want to quit my job and start flying right away. ๐Ÿ™‚

However, I was wondering what documents/pictures and paper work you need to take along for the open day? I tried to look it up on the internet, but didn’t find anything.

Would be grateful if you could help me out! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you and keep up your great blog!

What country or city would you visit ? I got the feeling that you’ve already see everything haha

    • June 26, 2015 / 5:51 pm

Haha it does seem like I’ve seen a lot, but there are still a whole load of cities I haven’t visited that we fly to – most of Africa, Scandanavia, some places in the US…the list goes on haha!

I really like reading your blogs haha definitely a favourite! Hoping for a blog about a typical turnaround flight and ultra long haul flight. It would be interesting to see the differences in service etc between a long flight and short flight! Keep blogging! X
