A stroll through Prague

For my second trip to Prague in the same month, I decided to take it easy on the sightseeing and just enjoy strolling through the city.

Once again the weather was beautiful, and I headed out with one of the girls from my flight. We walked past so may beautiful buildings, I just love the architecture in Europe.

Our first stop of the day was a super cute café called Café Chloé. Perfect for instagram – full of pretty marble tables, pink chairs and a flower wall!

We had intended to stop for a coffee, but with the heat (and lack of air-conditioning!) the best idea was to cool off with a crisp glass of rosé. After all, why not blend in with your surroundings!

From here the two of us walked into Prague old town for a walk around. There are so many lovely boutiques and shops on every corner, although we restrained ourselves from doing any shopping this time.

After a couple of hours walking round, we decided it was time to find somewhere for dinner, and spotted a rooftop which looked inviting.

Unfortunately I don’t remember the name of the place, but it was the perfect spot to watch the sun set and enjoy an aperol spritz with our dinner.

How stunning is this view over the city?

After dinner we walked down towards the main square, and stopped to watch the sunset at the Charles Bridge.

Of course we couldn’t resist trying one of the chimney cakes that we’d seen everywhere, although it was pretty sickly and even between the two of us we couldn’t finish it!

I had such a lovely day out in Prague – it’s a beautiful place with so much to see, and it was nice to take it easy and just enjoy an afternoon in the city!
